Jim Carter
James “Jim” Carter, executive vice president of Wood Quality Control, has been with WQC for about 25 years. His credentials include the following:
- more than 30 years experience working with wood products
- worked as a quality control manager with Southern Wood Piedmont Company; after one year, became company’s manager of research and development
- worked for Atlantic Wood Industries as a quality control manager
- B.S., Forestry, Iowa State University

Nick Klein
- worked as a procurement forester, specializing in timber procurement and land management assistance for private land owners
- worked as a forest products specialist at Arkansas Forestry Commission
- worked for Timber Products Inspection
- B.S., Forestry, University of Arkansas at Monticello
- joined WQC in 1992
Ron Watson
- more than 30 years experience working with wood products
- began career working for a wood preserving company that treated power poles and barn poles; worked up to quality control supervisor; also oversaw a pole peeling plant and a quality control and treating department while working for the organization
- worked for Timber Products Inspection
- joined WQC in 2000
